The Bible...The sole basis of our faith is God’s Word, the Bible. We hold that the Scriptures are infallible (without fault) and inerrant (without error) in the original manuscripts. We believe that the Bible is truth given by God. Thus, the Bible is the unique, full and final authority on all matters pertaining to faith and practice. Though other books, both modern and ancient, may contain helpful spiritual truth, no other writings are inspired by God. The Bible is the only book from which we receive the full and final authority of God. Therefore, we humbly submit all our thoughts, plans, and practices to its instruction & standard.

God...We believe that there is one true, holy God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; each of whom possesses equally all the attributes of deity and the characteristics of personality.

God: The Father...We believe that God has always and will always exist. We believe that He is the creator and sustainer of the universe. We believe that by His providence He continues to work through the history of mankind to bring about His redemptive purposes.

God: The Son...We believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived a perfect life and voluntarily died on the cross to atone for the sins of all mankind. We believe that He rose from the dead, ascended into heaven and now sits at the right hand of the Father where He continually intercedes for His own. We believe that He will come again to earth to consummate history and the eternal plan of God.

God: The Holy Spirit...We believe that the Holy Spirit was sent by God into the world to enlighten the minds of sinners and awaken them to the saving work of Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit, at the time of salvation, indwells every believer to sanctify and regenerate them. We believe that the Holy Spirit guides believers in understanding and applying the Word of God, uniquely gifts believers for service within the Body of Christ, and empowers them to live lives of holiness to the glory of God.

Salvation: We believe that salvation is a gift from God to man. Man can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works – only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can man be saved from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

Baptism: We believe that baptism by immersion symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and is your public declaration that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. Baptism does not save you, but shows the world that you have already been saved. And while baptism is not required for salvation, it is a biblical command and demonstrates your love and obedience to Christ.
